KVIrc is a powerful free Internet Relay Chat client
for UNIX systems with X-Window,
based on the excellent Qt GUI toolkit.
KVirc was written by Szymon Stefanek
(aka Pragma) with the contribution of many IRC addicted developers around the world.

Project status
|
The version 2.1.1 of KVIrc has been released on May 1 2001.
The release is named "Monolith" and seems to be stable enough to give
you several happy hours on IRC.
This release of KVIrc requires the Qt library >= 2.2.2
and offers support for the K Desktop Environment >= 2.0 (if specified
at compilation time).
The latest KVIrc source code can be also obtained by cvs.
and browsed through the cvs web interface.
